| Lorenzo Cain was awarded Arizona League MVP honors for his outstanding 2005 season. The Brewers are 2-for-2 thus far in League MVP honors as Angel Salome was awarded the Pioneer League MVP last week. It is the 2nd straight year that a Brewer farmhand has won Arizona League MVP honors as Hernan Iribarren won the award last season. Cain is a 6'2", 170 lb., 19-year old centerfielder from Madison, FL and was signed as a draft-and-follow player in 2005 after being selected in the 17th round in the 2004 draft. He is currently playing in Helena after the Arizona Rookies ended their season on Tuesday. |

| Arizona League MVP and Brewer outfielder Lorenzo Cain was named the 8th best prospect in the Arizona League by Baseball America on their annual league top 20 list. Cain led the league in runs, hits, doubles, slugging %, and extra base hits. He also finished 2nd in the league in hitting. Cain was the lone representative from the Brewers in the top 20 for the league. |
