Dodgers Manny to Exercise
Manny Ramirez is expected to return to the Dodgers in 2010, according to Dylan Hernandez's (Los Angeles Times) twitter page.

The news came from Manny's agent Scott Boras. The elite outfielder holds a $20MM option, and will apparently exercise it.

That was predictable.

He got suspended- er, took an unexpected vacation in the middle of the season- and there were already few takers when he was a FA.

This was the beginning of an awful offseason. They should have never brought him back last year. $20 million for a non-steroiding Manny, color me excited.

I sure wouldn't want to see that $20 million spent on starting pitching for our pathetic rotation. I am not at all optimistic about next year at all.
