I've got the NL game, I need to download the WS game before they change their mind. I think I'll do that tonight.

Good to hear...it gave me chills watching it.

What great moments. Adam Wainwright is 25...i still cant believe that.

If I'm ever down or upset, I know which thread to come to to cheer me up.

    Amen to that, STL4L.

My favorite part of the WS clincher is the collective scream of joy from the crowd as Wainwright gets the last strike. I could watch that part a million times (and I probably will!)

And, when they show a video clip of the Cardinals most recent WS Title it'll be Wainwright throwing the final pitch and not Bruce Sutter. I was 4 years old when Sutter threw that pitch and so I don't remember if I was watching that game or not. As for the Wainwright pitch, I can tell you almost anything you'd want to know!

Well this is what that link just said.

This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by MLB Advanced Media

    • The best pitch in baseball is strike one.
    • A good fastball thrown consistently for strikes is a pitcher’s best weapon.
    • A pitcher should make hitters prove that they can catch up with the fastball before trying to trick them with breaking balls and off-speed pitches.
