Default Last Movie you saw and rate it!

Got this from another board, may as well bring it here.

    Munich: 8.5/10
Very well done movie. Eric Bana delivers a solid performance as Avner, an Israeli who is working for the Moussad to kill a number of Palestinian terrorists who killed the Israeli Olympians at the Munich games.. The setting of 70s Europe was well done. The emotion and human error elements added to the realism and enjoyment of the movie. Some said Speilberg tried to push a political agenda, I just did not see it. The movie lost a point for two scenes toward the end of the movie. Overall, great movie. Highly recommended.

Watched "My Boss's daughter" last night via Netflix and I'd give it a rating of 3 out of 5.

Pride and Prejudice. Starring Keira Knightely. 4 out of 5.

Great acting, great dialog, wonderful costume design. No action, no shooting, no death, no acts of violence. It's a historical piece you can enjoy with your woman, if she's into that. Keira Knightley is looking gorgeous, she's in just about every scene, so you basically stare at her for 2 hours. Enjoyed listening to the British Accents and 19th century vocabulary. The gay in me thought this was a good movie.

    X-MEN 3

I thought they could have spent time doing a little more time introducing the characters. Most of them are well known but only the true geeks are going to recognize all of them. And unfortunatly those are the same geeks who are pissing and moaning over how they butchered xmen history.
The action was great, i found myself suprised over and over, and the bit after the credits was interesting. If you missed it you suck.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in the theaters. I gave it about a 5 out of 10. Its hard to fit everything from the book into the movie, but they just seemed to skip so much.

Rented Capote, give it a 5/10 as well. Made me want to read "In Cold Blood" though.

Hostel, I give it about a 6 out of 10. It had it's moments but I expected a lot more out of it. The acting wasn't very good, and it was kind of boring in the first half.

This is also the last movie I saw in the theater.

I would agree with your assesment Smug.

Althought I'd probably drop it down to a 7.5/8 because of the character issues you mentioned. I also felt they could have stretched the movie out a bit more to provide some of the character development that was lacking.

I still don't feel that this was the final X-Men film.

The movie was just stupid. I don't know what else to say.

Last movie I saw in the theaters: Ice Age 2

I'd say it was pretty good. Most of the movies I see at the theaters are kids movies these days and this one had some funny stuff in it. One of my favorite parts of the first one was the stuff with Scrat and his new stuff was pretty funny in this one too. The new possums were good.

Could have done without Queen Latifah as the voice of the female mammoth. But considering it IS a mammoth she's playing, I guess it fits.

I'd have to say...3½ out of 5 stars. Good but not great.

Kicking and Screaming was on last night. I'd say maybe a 3-10, possibly lower. Can't recall the last one I saw in the theatres.

Overall that movie wasn't all that great, but I thought Da Coach was funny in it.

Last movie i saw in the theaters as well. Smug gives a good summary. I would have liked to have seen the characters developed a bit more, and during the battle I would have thought there would have been a little bit more display of various mutant powers. The surprises were well worth it.
Really good surprises that dropped my mouth open. I'm not a comic geek so I'm ignorant on how they screwed up the story, and that's probably a good thing.

I expect most guys to hate it. Not sure why I sometimes get into those movies. Takes me 10-15 minutes to adjust to the accent and vocabulary, in the beginning if I'm not listening carefully I don't know what they are saying.

The last movie I actually watched was Tim Burton's A Corpse Bride.

I figured after how much I enjoyed A Nightmare Before Christmas that I would really enjoy this movie as well.

It was an ok movie. The story was good, but it was a tad short and I suppose my expectations were a bit high due to ANBC.

It had its moments, and some of the scenes from "downstairs" were quite comical.

All in all it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great. I give it a 6 out of 10.

Reminder, Post ANY movie you've seen recently, it doesn't have to be from theaters.
