Thrashers Recall Goaltender Adam Berkhoel from Chicago Wolves (AHL)

ATLANTA (Oct. 13, 2005 ) -- The Atlanta Thrashers have recalled goaltender Adam Berkhoel from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League, according to Executive Vice President and General Manager Don Waddell. The teamís active roster now stands at 23, with an additional two players on Injured Reserve.
Berkhoel, who is looking to make his NHL debut, has appeared in two games for Chicago, earning a 1-1-0 record, a 2.53 goals-against average and a .939 save percentage. Acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks in a trade on June 27, 2004, he played in one game for the Wolves and 24 games for Gwinnett of the ECHL last season.
