This is why I'm not worried about Holland not making any moves yet, if there is cap money to spend, here's where I'd like it to go:

PJ Stock
Byron Dafoe, I'm not sure if he's still any good, I think he's injury prone but he's another option for goalie.
Micheal Grosek
Felix Potvin, same thing as Dafoe, I dont know if he's any good anymore.
Peter Worrell
Andrew Cassells
Mark Hartigan
Anson Carter
Roman Cechmanek
Andrew Brunette
Yanic Perrault

There's tons of other guys out there too, those are just the ones with bigger names. If Holland has money to spend after he's done resigning Datsyuk and Zetterburg, some of these guys would come cheap.

I'm with you on that, every time his name came up on the trade block I wish Detroit would get him.

Mark Hartigan has got ties to Michigan too I believe. If thats the right guy Im thinking of, he'd be awesome for Detroit to sign.

Carter could be a good addition, it just depends which Anson Carter show up. The last couple of years he did nothing but float and loaf around the ice. But back when he was with Edmonton he skated hard, battled in the corners and was damn good. With a little motivation i think it wouldn't be a bad signing, and i think we got a coach now who'll kick a player in the ass when they deserve it.

My thoughts esactly 57. Babcock will bust his nutz if he slacks but how much would it cost to get him? And do we have it?
