    Braves 32+mil wasted????

Colon 12.5mil, has been DFAd with 2-8 record in 13 starts, 8,14 ERA, 63 IP.

    Garcia 12.0 mil, 15 starts, 2-6, 8 QS, 12 HRs allowed, 93 IP, 4.15 ERA

    Dickey, 8 mil, 15 starts, 6-5, 8 QS, 15 HRs allowed, 91.1 IP, 4.63 ERA,

IMO, 32+mil could/should have been better spent on 1 top rotation and a support (3-4) starter. Granted, the list of "quality" starters was somewhat limited, but .....

As someone who watched Garcia pitch for 7 years, just be happy he's not on the DL.

Dickey has been about what I expected. Not sure we will trade him but he is a vet that the rest of the staff can have to learn from.

Colon...roll of the dice. Didn't work but at least it was only 1 yr. I can stomach 1 yr deals that don't work as long as it is owned up to.

Garcia I thought would be better or at least hoped that would be the case. He needs to have a good next 3-4 starts before the deadline so we can get sonething of some value. Maybe he gets included with other guys to bring a bigger return. But...

Also I'm not sure there was that starter out there you could slot at 1 or 2 in the rotation unless you went crazy on years. I'm trying to even remember the guys who were available as FA last winter and no one jumps out at me.
