    Cardinals Greg Garcia

I'm watching the Cardinals game and Dan says "Greg Garcia is out of options and so has to make the team out of Spring Training in order to stay with the club." Who else do we even have that would replace him?

I don't think there's anyone who can win the job over him. I would say that he's 95% safe. If he struggles to start the season, it wouldn't completely surprise me if a move was made though.

Later in today's game, Breyvic Valera and Wilfredo Tovar played the middle infield spots. Valera is still a prospect but is only a second baseman. Tovar is a SS but the Mets gave up on him. So, there are some options, but none look like they're going to take Garcia's job right now. And, with Valera, he could take Wong's job if Wong doesn't hit or his shoulder keeps bothering him and he can't play.

I think Garcia would have to hit under .100 to not make the team this year...we need him and his ability to play in multiple infield spots.
