    Not sure right now.

    I thought I read somewhere that he was either legitimately sick or injured, but I think TNA is looking at his track record and thinking otherwise of him right now.

    But hey as it always is in wrestling, you never know who may come back.

    Raven is finished here and will be opening up a wrestling school. Well, maybe. He's actually asking around on his website to see if anyone would actually be interested in it.

    Angle did a wacky interview on the Rise Guys radio show in Greenville, SC, saying he expected Bobby Lashley to be the next guy to come to TNA (maybe, maybe not, I would bet against it for now but who knows?), that he would beat Brock's ass because Brock was a mental midget (he was chiding him here and probably trying to build up a pro-wrestling match in Japan perhaps as well), and that he and John Cena were the two hardest workers that WWE had when he was there.

    TNA's new base number appears to be a 1.2 after several weeks in a row. They broke another viewership record this week, pulling in 1.7 million viewers.

    Global Impact DVD features all the TNA matches from the Tokyo Dome.
    Shelley Martinez shot a porn flick that is coming out on February 11th, alongside Jewel De'Nyle. Apparently TNA is well aware of this and there isn't any heat. There was heat on her a couple weeks back for skipping some house shows to do autograph signings at a porn convention.

    -----Some people within TNA recently sent out feelers to people in WWE about taking BG James and Kip James off of their hands. WWE actually said they would possibly consider BG James (his brother Scott Armstrong is currently a referee for ECW), but said they want absolutely nothing to do with Kip James.

    Don't you think that a New Age Outlaws reunion in WWE would do much better than just BG James' return, though?

    Any level of success would just lead to them sticking around longer.

    I think you have to have an actual tag team division first in WWE.

    But what will that prove, Red?

    It'll be only a matter of time before they are beaten to a bloody pulp by the Brothers of Destruction.

    Oh yeah, I know you missed this last week Red;

    Judas Mesias may be on his way out of TNA. The word going around backstage at Tuesday's Impact tapings was that Mesias has worked his last match with the company for a while. Both sides are open to working together in the future, but several people backstage are under the impression that they don't have any future plans for him.

    After joining TNA last fall, Mesias is still working without a contract. Mesias is one of a few talents working under a pay-per-appearance deal with TNA. The reason for this is that some non-contracted wrestlers enjoy the freedom of working non-TNA shows, and they wouldn't be able to work certain shows if they signed with TNA. In Mesias' case, he's affiliated with the AAA promotion in Mexico, which is a major promotion there. If he signed a contract with TNA, he probably wouldn't be allowed to work there anymore.

    Mesias makes approximately $300 more per match in TNA than in AAA, so that figures to around $500 per shot. However he can wrestle up to five nights a week in Mexico, and earn nearly $100,000 per year there, which is presumably more than TNA is willing to pay him.

    TNA may or may not go live on Thursday of WrestleMania weekend. Right now it is not on the schedule, but the final decision is said to be in Spike's hands. It may not happen, it may be the beginning of something, and it may be a one-night thing. Only thing we know is that at press time a source at Spike said, "We're working on it." So it's not a dead issue.

    TNA did a sellout 3,000 for their show in Elmira, NY this past weekend. We're told the show, as always, was awesome with everyone working hard and having great matches. LAX beat Jimmy Rave & Lance Hoyt in the opener; Jay Lethal beat Sonjay Dutt, so they're already taking that match on the road before the big angle on TV. Dutt was said to be a great heel; James Storm beat Eric Young with the superkick in a good match (Young is great at house shows); Team 3-D, playing babyfaces, beat Shelley and Sabin with a powerbomb through a table. Place was going nuts for this one. They didn't bother doing the weigh-ins on the road; Samoa Joe beat AJ Styles with a choke in another good match; Kong beat Jackie and Gail Kim in a three-way with a powerbomb on Jackie after Gail had been sent outside. A referee also took a powerbomb afterwards. They threatened a powerbomb on Earl Hebner but he scampered away under Kong's legs in a funny spot; Angle beat Christian in their usual good match with all the reversals at the end, finishing with the ankle lock and leg scissors by Angle. Cage got busted open legit during this match.

    TNA ran Webster Hall in New York last Thursday, their first-ever show in the market. Dixie Carter was there and met a lot of the fans, and they had a big autograph signing with most of the roster afterwards. It was like a high-end indy show as you'd never see something like that in WWE, but the fans loved it and the show, as usual, got high marks. I believe Dixie ended up leaving the tour after this show. Machine Guns beat Jimmy Rave & Lance Hoyt, Lethal beat Dutt with the flying elbow, Team 3-D beat LAX after putting Hernandez through a table, Samoa Joe beat AJ Styles with the muscle buster in a great match, Storm beat Eric Young in a match with tons of comedy (there were "YOU SCREWED BRET" chants during this match directed at Hebner), Amazing Kong beat Gail Kim and Jackie in a three-way to retain the belt, then powerbombed Rudy Charles afterwards, and Kurt Angle beat Christian to retain the title in an excellent main event with the ankle lock. Tommy Dreamer was actually at the show, and not only did they acknowledge him but it was mentioned on the TNA website. Can you imagine if WWE did this for, say, Eric Young? He sat in the crowd and watched the show, and Team 3-D called him out afterwards in a friendly manner.

    Leticia Cline will be a contestant on the next season of Beauty and the Geek on CW. I suspect, but do not have this confirmed, that she would in fact be the Beauty.
    Lockdown will take place April 13th at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA. It's the all-cage matches event

    Motor City Machine Guns are doing a one-time show for ROH on April 18th in Detroit and April 19th in Chicago. Basically, nobody is banned from ROH or any other promotion, the promotions just have to make sure they can pony up appropriate amounts of cash and then agree not to include the matches on any commercial DVDs. The problem is that the way most indy promotions are set up, the only way to make money is to bring in names and then make money off DVDs. So really, it's tough to justify using a lot of guys because almost nobody alone is going to sell enough tickets to equal their price tag.

    Angle claims he's been doing MMA training, largely focusing on jiu-jitsu. Is this secret training? I think we'd have heard by now if he was training with anyone of any renown.

    Man I wish I could go to the ROH show in Detroit coming up.

    But that is far too close in the future, I may have more than a few things going on at that time.

    In addition to Judas Mesias, who may be on his way out of the company, Dustin Rhodes a.k.a. Black Reign, Rellik and Ms. Payton Banks are currently working without contracts, reports www.ProWrestling.net. No word yet on where the likes of Sharmell, Salinas (who TNA hasn't added a profile on yet), Raisha Saeed and Rhaka Khan fall.

    Why would Judas Mesias be on his way out?!

    I hope Dustin Rhodes can stick around...and I do like Rellik too.

    I have no idea, Red. Maybe because they do not have any other programs that he could fit into, or he might be a bad person to work with.

    Since he's a big guy, he will not be out of a job for long. He might reappear up north.

    source: observer;

    They drew about 3,000 for Destination X, which is very good. Roxxi Leveaux beat Angelina Love in the dark match. Coulda sworn they were friends after Impact and Angelina was going to give her a makeover this week. They do a deal when they go on the road where local DJs promote the show, and in return they appear in the dark matches in the corner of the wrestlers. They promote it like it's DJ vs. DJ, which pushes the show big locally since the DJs are more apt to plug something they're directly involved in. It's a pretty smart idea, in fact.

    Nobody was hurt at the PPV. Well, no wrestlers. During the Fish Market brawl, a lady about ten rows back was hit dead in the face by a flying fish thrown by Bubba. Security immediately went out there, took her backstage and gave her ice. There was also an incident where a production assistant was trying to clean off Tenay and West's broadcast table when another flying fish -- again thrown by Bubba -- hit her right in the back of the head and she smashed face-first into the table.

    LOL!!

    -- WWE officials warned talent to stay away from TNA talent during their stay in Orlando this weekend. They do not want their wrestlers seen socializing with guys from TNA. WWE feels that there should be separation between the two organizations and that TNA is piggybacking off of their weekend in Orlando. The WWE AXXESS center is literally only a few feet away from the Soundstage TNA tapes Impact in.
