ok.... Love the guy!!!!! but i say lets let him walk.... I'd like to see the organization bring up AA Reading Phillies catching prospect John Castellano.... He pout up good numbers this year... and it'd be nice to see a prospect catcher make his way up like estrada did....
Bat. Avg.- .340 (368 AB)
Runs- 50
Doubles- 25
Triples- 1
HR- 18
RBI- 68
Walks- 32
Strikeouts- 55
Games- 103
Good #'s... so i say lets let pratt walk... we still have hinch incase Castellano isn't doin well with the big team... but it can't hurt unless we try....
Thoughts?

Did he play the whole year at AA? If so, I wouldn't mind him being the backup this year. But I also wouldn't mind bringing Pratt back, it's not like it would cost that much or we would use the money else where....

yea, he played the whole year at AA... he did give some games to their other two catchers, but he was the main guy....

It seems like a major risk considering if Lieberthal goes down this guy would be the starter. He would also be playing once per week, and if it doesn't work out we would be in a situation where we would have to trade for someone, which is never good.

Keep Pratt....I love what he brings to the team. Let Castellano have another year of major league experience since it would hinder him some to be playing once a week or so.

We should keep Pratt, but thanks for the info about Castellano. Wonder why he wasnt a call-up.
