TORONTO (CP) - National Hockey League officials are considering revamping the orange-and-black shield logo, according to the Toronto Star.
The change is suggested in a draft report recently prepared for the NHL by a marketing research company. Changing it's ``Hockey Rules'' slogan is also under consideration.
``Nothing is set in stone at this point. These are all things that are being considered,'' league spokesperson Bernadette Mansur told the newspaper. ``It's just premature to get into more detail right now.''
The proposed logo change has been discussed during conference calls between the league's top marketing officials and marketing representatives from its 30 teams.
