If you mean the stripper, then I don't agree with you

It's a big deal...she was beat and raped by 3 guys..it's just being way way overblown by the media

Then why did the dna tests come back negative for the lacrosse team?

It did happen in the dorms occupied by the team.

I guess she should have checked for numbers on their backs to verify they were team members.

BTW 2 indictments have been handed down.

I guess the DNA matched somebody.

Was that proven?

No proof came from DNA tests, pictures showed the stripper arrived all beaten, bruised, etc. She saw a group of athletes from one of the most prestigious universities in the nation, that happens to be mostly white.

She's looking for money....its as clear as day.

I believe those indictments were handed down because of who the woman identified.

Based on what I know (Which is merely what's reported), I won't dispute that some beating/abuse happened to her, I just don't think the Lacrosse team was the guilty party.

Please, do not ever go near jury duty.

haha...well, I really never want jury duty.

But were I in a situation where I'm making a decision like that that's going to affect someone, I'd make sure everything was proven first.

And to be honest, as of right now, with the info we've got, the team is innocent...remember...innocent until proven guilty?

I think anyone assuming that the team was at fault is just as guilty of making assumptions as anyone who feels they aren't at fault and shes looking for money.

Besides, all the evidence so far suggests that the team was not at fault at all.

Yup, like the poor coach who was basically forced to resign from all the media pressure, and pressure from who else knows where.

Now you have people like Jesse Jackson getting involved, saying the players HAVE to speak when asked, and so forth, instead of waiting for their lawyers, trying to make this some big political racial thing.

It's bullshit.

I never said anyone is guilty.

You said she was guilty, plain as day.

It seems none of the sides possess much credibility due to former conduct. Neither the lacrosse team, the stripper, or Mr. Jackson.

Last I checked, she wasn't being sued for anything.

All I said was that all the evidence seems to point to one thing...

And besides, its a message board...if I want to speculate or conclude from what I know, I have every right to.

I'm NOT on a jury or anything like that...so I can do this.

The first stripper's accusations look worse and worse every day

Most lawyers are scumbags. The lawyers for the lacrosse players seem to be upping the douchebagedness of the profession. If I see another arrogant assault on the defendant's character out of one of these leaches, I'm going to Tobacco Road to punch some Adam's Apples.

Unfortunately, there seems to be enough arrogant assaults on character to go around for everyone involved, or not involved.

Wasnt that what Kobe's lawyers did too? Make the victim look like a sleezeball and try to discredit them?

Yeah, but the lawyers are the loudest. Lawyers suck. All of them. Long and hard.

I think that victim did enough on her own to discredit herself. Not testifying didn't help if I remember correctly.

Yes, that was part of their strategy.

But I don't know all attorneys.

I don't know all strippers.

I don't know all Duke La Crosse players.

And I certainly don't know all the facts or the truth about what happened that night.

So at this point I'll avoid broad generalizations and/ disparaging remarks about the character(s) of any of those groups or situations.
