ESPN.com (http://www.kffl.com/link/9)'s Len Pasquarelli (http://www.kffl.com/link/17) reports Pittsburgh Steelers (http://www.kffl.com/team/30/nfl) S Ryan Clark (http://www.kffl.com/player/5782/nfl) signed a four-year contract worth $7 million, including a signing bonus of $1.7 million to join the Steelers.




Clark was more than willing to return as a skin but instead decided to throw much bigger bucks at a Vet.
I hope the move turns out well for the skins, but IMO, Polamalu and Clark are going to be the better tandem than Taylor and Archuletta.

When you look at the contract terms, the deal AA signing doesnt make a whole lot of sense. I would much rather have re-signed Clark for 7 mil then have AA for 30 mil

Revisionist history is obviously easy but I'm on a pretty active Redskin board and most all of us felt the same way at the time. I'll admit to not knowing a lot about AA at the time but when I read that he struggled in coverage all I could think of was a big hitting Matt Stevens, only at cap busting numbers. :(

sign, this was quite a peice of insight, i only wish the packers had landed Clark and not the steelers.
