A purchase agreement between Blues owners Bill and Nancy Lauire and a prospective buyer could be imminent, but team president Mark Sauer on Monday denied reports that a sale has been completed.

Can we please finalize a deal soon! I did not think the selling of the team would have taken this long. Especially when it seems like there are quite a few parties interested in purchasing the team. I guess they gotta get their legal mumbo-jumbo all squared away.

This team's future is depending on this new ownership, I dont know why it's taking so long but thankfully it may happen sooner then later. We need this so badly haha. Next season depends on it

thats what they were saying during when weight was traded... it sounded like it was done deal

I heard on TV the speculation that Checketts was waiting to buy the team until after guys like Weight & Sillinger have been traded so he didn't look like the guy that bought the team and immediately put on a firesale.

Looks like it's gonna happen and happen within the end of the week. That's the talk at least. Sooner the better, let's get this show on the road. More trades to come I can assure you
