This is a 30 minute game tonight.....

After the 1st half....nothing matters! Let's kick some!

I would like to thank the Rams fans in advance for being so kind during such a terrible loss to the Chiefs. LOL.

:D .................

I'd like to thank STL for allowing us to so gracefully walk into the endzone 12 times.

This is the game where the Rams' 8th-string RB gets to look like Faulk...

Got to love that porous defense. ;)

Is this the same D that couldnt stop ANYONE in the NFL, BUT the RAMS? HAHA

We ended Warner's career.....

not in our house, Vermeil said that he is going to give the fans their monies worth tonight.

Then you guys must not charge much for tickets :p

Sorry, couldn't resist!

more than the Vikings, if that helps you any.

I think we pay about $30-35 per game for our season tickets at the dome. We're about 20 rows up in the upper deck at the Metrodome. I think good seats at the dome go for $100 or so, though I could be wrong.

vikaves
08-23-2004, 01:05 PM
Wow, $30 - $35 isn't bad at all. We pay so much more for seats in Giants Stadium.

Treypops
08-23-2004, 01:16 PM
Yeah, we have those PSL's in St. Louis which really drives up the costs.

NCarlsCorner2
08-23-2004, 01:31 PM
it cost almost that just to park at Arrowhead.

sully
08-23-2004, 01:35 PM
Funny, that's about how much parking is around the dome, too. You're looking at $15-20 to park anywhere from a few blocks to a mile away from the metrodome.

Treypops
08-23-2004, 01:41 PM
I don't know how much parking is going to be for the Rams this year but it was around $15 last season.
For the first Cardinals baseball game of this season, most places were charging at least $60 for parking.

$$30-35 bucks!! WOW. I think upperdeck tickets in KC are $52.00 a piece if I remember right. Go to kcchiefs.com if you want to know exactly.

Parking prices at ARROWHEAD are also ridiculous! I think it's up to $20.00 per car! I can understand ticket prices going up...but parking prices?

I agree with Tyler...after the first half nothing matters! Actually, pre-season in general barely matters.

Well, of course it does to the chiefs, since they use these 4 games as their contact drills or whatever.

I'm also anxious to see how TE Erik Jensen (IOWA) does on the rams side tonight. He didn't play a lot for the Hawks, but when he did, he was very reliable. Any one of your rams fans know how he's been doing? good or bad?

sully
08-23-2004, 04:35 PM
That value is a bit lower than regular prices (Though not by much). When you by season tickets for the Vikes (Assumingly like other teams), you get a slight deal on the ticket price per game.

The seats aren't too bad, except I can't see the huge scoreboard, as it's behind me at a painful angle. As far as parking at the dome, you can get a good deal if you take street parking in downtown Minneapolis. We park 2 blocks away from the game on the street by bringing $8 in quarters. We get there a few hours earlier (8-9am for a noon start), but we have breakfast at a restaurant near the game every weekend, so it works out good for us.

You get a slight deal for buying viking season tickets? That's nice.

I'm not a season ticket holder for the Chiefs, yet. However, I do not think you get any better deal by buying KC season tickets as opposed to buying single game tickets through the ticket office. oh well.

I know it sucks BIG TIME for raider fans (as it should be, heehee) who buy season tickets. They can only buy the rights to the seats for a MAXIMUM of 2 years. I have a buddy (yes, the lost soul is a raiders fan, hahaha) who just bought some. He gets to buy the rights and this years tickets, and he also gets to buy next years tickets...then he has to go thrugh the whole process of trying to buy season tickets again! Paying the seat rights fees AGAIN! I think in KC you buy the rights one time and then just buy the tickets every year. NEVER paying for the rights again.

sully
08-23-2004, 06:08 PM
We've had our tickets for 7 years now. The only way we'd have to reapply is if they built a stadium and put in PSL's. Otherwise we're set.

if we get the ball first and Dante runs it back, its all over.

it's rained here all day off and on, right now we are under a tornado watch, lets hope it doesnt effect the game and have it called early.

vikaves
08-23-2004, 07:17 PM
That defense actually had a good outing.

What a play for Boe... I remember picking up that guy 2 seasons ago because all he did was catch touchdowns.

sully
08-23-2004, 07:19 PM
That was a pretty nice catch by Holmes (And throw by Green) on that play... Good stuff there!

tyler_durden101
08-23-2004, 07:21 PM
Touchdowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn!

Kansas City!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 possessions = 2 punts!

The doubters can suck it! :D

vikaves
08-23-2004, 07:37 PM
The KC defense is doing really well ou there, thus far. And the offense doesn't seem like it has lost too much. Holmes looked great on that first drive.

sully
08-23-2004, 07:57 PM
And the Chiefs score again! Derrick Blaylock on that TD run.

Chiefs lead 14-0.

tyler_durden101

NCarlsCorner2

possible tornado on the ground east of topeka, the storm is heading east toward KC at 10 mph, remember when they called the game due to lightning.

NCarlsCorner2
08-23-2004, 08:23 PM
let's not show them everyting we got on defense.

sully
08-23-2004, 08:26 PM
Considering it's Bulger throwing, you don't have to show him too much to get him confuzzled.

vikaves
08-23-2004, 08:28 PM
Wow, 24-0 with 20 seconds left in the half....

How was the third touchdown scored?

sully
08-23-2004, 08:29 PM
Shawn Barber interception return.

Wow, this defense has been playing well. Gunther seems like he has done a lot since taking over.

Why punt on fourth down?

They might as well go for it on the last play of the half...
24-0 KC at the half...

Well....it's either punt or get Bulger sacked again....;)

sully

Now, now... Don't be like that...

He could always get intercepted :D

This doesn't surprise me at all, and I'm not even watching it. Martz loves Bulger, we'll see how Bulger does when he has to use the plays that Martz put Warner through, and how he does after his brains get beat out by repeated sacks.

tyler_durden101
08-23-2004, 08:42 PM
Bulger has looked down right retarded! This KC defense has beat him around all night....That play where Barber picked it....I could have swore there were 22 defenders on the field!

NCarlsCorner2

NCarlsCorner2
08-23-2004, 09:31 PM
he's running with the 1st string OL against our backups, but he does look pretty good.

sully
08-23-2004, 09:32 PM
Their O-line needs as much help as it can get, considering Pace is out and they've brought Nutten out of retirement.

ryr8828
08-23-2004, 09:34 PM
The Rams don't need anything. The have Martz. He's a genius, haven't you heard?

Wilkerson and Allen, these two guys are our future studs, they have had a sack in both games this year.
