Blues get: Forward Timofei Shishkanov from Predators. I heard he was 22 but that's about it.

I know nothing about the kid that we got for him. I'm kinda surprised they couldn't get any more then just one person for our leading goal scorer. Or maybe a draft pick thrown in. I guess either this guy is pretty good or that Sillinger will probably be on their 2nd or 3rd line. I dont trust Larry Pleau sooo haha

Sillinger will be on their second or third line. I'm thinking its just more a salary dump than anything.

I almost feel bad for Blues fans this year.

We appreciate that haha. We aren't used to this in St. Louis...I mean 25 straight years and now this...it's hard to swallow. I'm going to the game tonight, should be something else haha. At least they are doing the right thing and are dumping the players they don't need. Get rid of couple more and the salary cap will be far away from our payroll. Of course we still need an owner!! :mad:

I really think the biggest problem is Weight and Tkachuk, they should have been bought out over the summer.

I rather face the Blues in the playoffs then those damn Predators.

I'm really hoping you guys take Phil Kessel in the draft this year. I really hate him so it would be fun playing against you guys all the time being a Wings fan. Plus I want Pittsburgh to Johnson, the defenseman.

I don't think Pittsburgh will take him. They already have Crosby and Malkin, they just need some defense right now.

I hate Kessel because after watching him in the World Juniors he comes off as a huge spoiled kid that is a big hot dog. I'm starting to not mind Ovechkin as well, but Crosby is still better.

Ovechkin can back up whatever he does or whatever he says, he's unbelievable. He's a young kid (Kessel), what do you expect from him? I wouldn't expect him to be any different

Doesnt mean I have to like him. I'm biased since I'm from Canada and seeing as how Ovechkin went up against Canada last year in the World Juniors, he got on my bad side really early.

I think the Blues have a very good chance of taking the first overall pick though. The Wings and Preds are beating up on the division pretty well. If Kessel went to Pittsburgh though, I'd be an instant fan.

i heard that as well... not necessarily the comparison to kovy, but that he is talented but doesnt go hard all the time...

a lot of the russian players have been accused of that!


is your typical russian forward prospect - great skill, but questionable desire and committment
