Todd Bertuzzi in Blue?

I'm not saying I heard anything or that the man would even be available, but if the Blues trade some high-priced guys and they get new ownership, they will have a lot of room under the cap to spend spend spend. Todd Bertuzzi might be out there. Is he someone you bring in? His past is bad because he tried to "kill" someone, BUT he's an awesome hockey player. Just a thought.

Hey Leonard Little "tried" to kill someone too and he hasn't been ousted out of town.

I don't think he would be welcomed in St. Louis though. This coming from someone who hasn't been to a hockey game in about 3 or 4 years though.

I don't think thats the direction the Blues are going. Is Bertuzzi gonna be a FA or is he still controlled by Vancouver?

I'm thinking Bertuzzi is a restricted FA, but I'm not sure really. The only reason I bring it up is because I was listening to Chris Kerber and Kelly Chase on 550 KTRS and Kerbs made the comment about how the Blues fans were booing Bertuzzi everytime he touched the puck, but then said, "hey kelly think Blues fan would boo the man if he was to, i dont know, sign in the offseason?" Chase thought they wouldnt boo and would invite a talented player as him here.

You got me though, he seems like a loose cannon. He sure as hell would be someone to build around though. I trade say Weight, Drake, Sillinger, Weinrich and keep Tkachuk and build around Keith next year. This will open up ALOT of cap room. I can't remember if I've made this point already on another post, but there ya go haha.

Understandable comment Zero, I'm with ya and I'm sure there are A LOT of others who would be as well. Todd is an awesome player, but not an awesome person. He sucks at life. It's okay to get back at someone for going after your best player, MARKUS NASLUND, but God he went at it the wrong way. Larry Pleau is our GM though and he's horrible, so ya never know what he'll do

Bertuzzi didnt look too good last night haha. Of cours nobody on Vancouver did. 4-0???? If we played the Canucks every game our playoff streak would be fine!
