We did not show up in the first half. That second half rocked. And it took a miracle catch to put the game away.

Yeah, but our reactive rather than proactive defense could become a big issue. I can understand what some advantages to dropping seven into coverage might be. But when it repeatedly DOESN'T WORK for us, I think you have to start blitzing more often. As they say, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Our team needs some work still. Reduce turnovers and avoiding penaltys would go along ways.

I think dropping 7 and rushing 4 works fine if you can disguise the coverage...

Have corners follow motion-men across the field like they were playing Man and then play Zone instead.
Show the blitz and then drop off into coverage.
Have one linebacker show blitz, and then rush a different guy somewhere else.

Stuff like that.

The Hawks didn`t tackle as well as they usually do. That didn`t help yesterday.
