14-2?
I sure as hell can. Easily....watch "Seattle will finish 14-2".
See, that was easy. As were the Pats in the second half. Damn it, Seattle is good, but it's the little mistake still.

I'd say losing after being ahead by 17 is a pretty big mistake

That is true. Coming back from 17 on the road is quite a feat, as we almost saw today. I know almost doesn't mean shit, but for a Seattle team that played like dirt on the road last year, this was a fantastic showing, IMO.

Pass whatever you're smoking over here. They looked like a 9-7 at best team today. Every year they beat the easy teams, look good early, and choke against the better teams. Just like last week and today. They throw two picks and give up two TD's as a result, they can't get a TD at the end of the 1st half, and after getting a turnover. Then they can't even score from the 2 at the end of the game. They showed me nothing in the last 6 quarters to indicate they can beat the Rams again on the road, or the Vikings, or the Jets or Atlanta. Or the Eagles or Giants in the playoffs.

I can easily see the 'Hawks running the table now... Minnesota or perhaps Dallas look to be the toughest opponents remaining. @<hidden> is always a tough situation but we dominated the Rams last week for 52 minutes, and I'm positive they can do it for 60 if they keep their heads in the game.
Regarding the burn on 3rd-and-long, I agree... I'm still not sure how our safeties are letting people get behind them so easily. Again it was a blitz... and the offense had the perfect play for it yet again. If the blitz had come from the other side, I bet we stop 'em.
At least now we can smack around the Cards and get back in the win column.

We're SUPPOSED to beat Arizona. We aren't able to beat the good teams. And as far as keeping their heads in the game for 60 minutes, that is playing a full 60 minutes of football, until they acutally do it, I'm not going to sit here and say they can. Show me. I'm tired of getting all hyped about this team and then the choke again.

So you're happy with losing two in a row, and playing so poorly in the 1st half of this game and the 4th quarter of last week? If you want a rah-rah cheerleader board, fine. If we can't express disapproval about their play, then that's all this is. But I'm pissed at the way they've played the last two games, and I want them to come out and show us fans they're not just the same old Seahawks, show us they are as good as all the hype so far.

Tell you what, if we lose to the Cards, then I'll sit down and cry in my beer along side you. :P
Of course there's always something to complain about... I noticed a lot of armtackling and the pass drops, naturally. But I also think the refs had it in for us on more than one occasion. And the way we came out in the second half both offensively and defensively was impressive. We fought back from 17 down to make a game of it.
If there is such a thing as a moral victory, I think that's what we saw today.

I love the Hawks, but to honestly think they will be 14-2 is a reach. This team is fun to watch. Are they Super Bowl caliber yet? No. But I sure am glad I have a team in this region that is good.
I'll try and understand NightHawk's opinion, but I'm just happy to have a good team.

uh, NH did you watch the game? they killed the pats in the second half, and beat themselves...we lost because we didn't make it happen, not because they stopped us short.

I'm sorry, I'm a black or white kinda guy. They lost. And they are not a great team yet. That's just my opinion, and it would be great if I was wrong!
I hate to quote Jim Rome but, "Scoreboard".

I think '78 is well, um, suffering from a lack of something with the ladies. Hopefully Sunday evening will be good to him.
But really, the team needed to come out swinging to start, but instead started rather flat, and sloppy. They attempted, and almost suceeded, by nearly dominating the 2nd half.

outsiders opinion here:
Seahawks will get their division, win 10-12 games, and maybe make it to the NFC championship if nothing changes. Letting Stl back in last week was horrible and had to hurt the team. I thought they'd come out today fired up and score quick on NE. But they did show some character in coming back and almost making a game out of the Patriots. I think Seattle is probably the 2nd or 3rd best team in the NFC, but they definately have the players to go and win the superbowl.

Fuck you , you little pre-puberty punk. The only action you've ever had is your right hand. Or is it your left? The only action you ever will have.
Nearly dominating the 2nd half? They got one fucking touchdown, the whole game. First half, got to NE 15, and kick a field goal. Got to the NE 22, and kick a field goal. Second half, got to NE 10, and KICK A FIELD GOAL. Got to NE 9, touchdown (about fucking time). Got to NE 12, and KICK A FIELD GOAL. Got to NE 4, then 2, then 1 and can't score a fucking touchdown. You've got nerve calling that even "near" domination. 5 trips into the red zone, and one just outside it, and they get one touchdown. That's domination?

blah blah blah. they got in position to make it happen at will, and didn't. I know you are quite fickle for some unknown reason, but for crying out loud, you would think after the blow ups you had last year you might show just a tad more patience instead of proclaiming that this team is nothing more than a 9-7 team. At least you haven't asked the hawks to cut a great player like you did last year with Jackson...

Why don't you get back on the other board with that childish nonsense.
I understand your being realistic, but can't you be somewhat positive?
Polo was just joking anyhow.
