CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- Two days after being named to the United States Olympic Hockey Team, Craig Conroy (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=1195) returns to familiar surroundings.
Conroy plays his first game at Calgary since the 2004 Stanley Cup Finals on Wednesday when the Los Angeles Kings (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/clubhouse?team=los) look for their fourth straight win against the Flames.
Before signing with Los Angeles as a free agent, Conroy helped the Flames win the Western Conference title nearly two years ago by scoring six goals and adding 11 assists in the 2004 playoffs.
After learning he and teammate Aaron Miller (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=895) had been selected for the U.S. Olympic squad, Conroy scored a shorthanded goal for the Kings in Monday's 4-3 shootout victory over the Vancouver Canucks.
Alexander Frolov (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=2578) scored the clincher in the shootout for the Kings, who are tied with Dallas for first place in the Pacific Division.
Calgary failed to hold a two-goal lead in the third period in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Edmonton Oilers (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/clubhouse?team=edm), which snapped a three-game losing streak.
Although he picked up one assist, Jarome Iginla (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=1453) has failed to score a goal in his last six home games, his longest streak since an eight-game stretch from December 7, 2003-January 3, 2004.
The Flames are 9-2-2 in their last 13 meetings with the Kings, including a 3-2 victory October 23. Chris Simon (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=595) scored twice for Calgary.

CALGARY (AP) -- Mike Cammalleri scored twice and Jeff Giuliano (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=3460)'s first career goal was the game-winner Wednesday night as the Los Angeles Kings scored four times in the third period for a 5-2 win over the Calgary Flames (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/clubhouse?team=cgy).
Cammalleri tied it at 2 on the power play, sweeping a low shot past Miikka Kiprusoff (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=2017).
The Kings took their first lead of the night 27 seconds later, when a harmless looking shot from the blue-line by Tom Kostopoulos (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=2067) was redirected by Giuliano as the rookie left-winger cruised through the slot.
Los Angeles went up two goals at 13:37 when Pavel Demitra converted Alexander Frolov (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=2578)'s centering pass.
Los Angeles won its fourth in a row despite missing two of its top centers. Former Flames forward Craig Conroy (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=1195) is out with the flu and Jeremy Roenick (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=4) will miss at least a month with a broken finger.
Daymond Langkow (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=1352) and Jarome Iginla (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=1453) scored for Calgary. Iginla's goal was his 14th of the season but only his third in 14 games.
The Flames had been 12-1-1 in games in which they took a lead into the third period.
It marked a second straight shaky outing for Kiprusoff. After allowing five goals against the Oilers in a 5-4 loss Monday night, Kiprusoff gave up four goals Wednesday on just 17 shots.
Mathieu Garon (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=1968) made 27 saves to improve to 14-7-0 for the Kings.
Calgary finished 2-for-10 on the power play while Los Angeles was 1-for-7.<
^Notes:@<hidden> Conroy's bout with the flu spoiled his much anticipated first game back in Calgary since the fan favorite signed with the Kings as a free agent in July, 2004 ... Kings F Luc Robitaille (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?statsId=8) returned to the lineup after being benched for three games and got three minor penalties in the first period.
