This one sucks. I wouldn't know a thing about 3/4 of the prospects we have and all of the prospects we trade for if it weren't for PSP; I wouldn't even be on this site if it weren't for Phila. Total coin-flip.

An interesting question would be how many Braves games PSP went to last season, as opposed to Phillies games.
I'm not sure why I would find it interesting, but nonetheless, I would.

Is that a serious question? I live in Atlanta. I went to the majority of the Phillies games here, and went to a bunch of other games as well. I didn't know being a Phillies fan meant you can't enjoy the game of baseball otherwise.

This one is a difficult match up. In thoroughly analyzing the match up before making my decision, I noticed that dude "lingsched" voted for PSP. That can't help the PSP camp IMO.

I see your point, but I guess I just don't care about that all that much. I'm just sympathetic to living somewhere else and getting stuck watching another team play when you want to see live games since I've lived in Phoenix for the last five years or so. It's tough for people to understand who don't live in Philly (I know I never understood it), but it's just something that happens when you move out of the area and it stinks but you end up coming to terms with it and just seeing the Phils when you can (and dropping $200 on the Extra Innings package and $10 a month on XM so you can actually listen to Harry call the games).
And, for what it's worth, I think Phila goes through the same thing since he lives in Virginia (or at least used to) and most likely goes to more Nats games than Phils games at this point. It's just an unfortunate product of moving...

And, for what it's worth, I think Phila goes through the same thing since he lives in Virginia (or at least used to) and most likely goes to more Nats games than Phils games at this point. It's just an unfortunate product of moving...
When the Nats win umpteen straight Division titles, we'll talk.

Trust me, Atlanta was not my choice of places to live. However, you can find some awesome people here if you give it a try. The Braves thing never gets any easier though.

I can relate completely. Fortunately Arizona sports don't compete with Philly on any level so I don't have to deal with it...but I learned a long time ago that if you decide where you're going to live based on your sports allegiances, you're going to be miserable more often than happy. We all sacrifice enough just having to cheer for these perennial losers; no need to sacrifice job, school, etc. on top of it (especially now that you can watch every game on mlb.com and still catch a handful in person).

The point was that I knew PSP attended some Braves games. I was goofing on him. I thought it was in fun, that he'd say something like, "Yeah, and I asked Chipper about his trysts." Instead it was taken the wrong way.
Oh, and you live in the Braves market. Everyone who receives TBS is in the Braves market, technically. I'd also be interested to see how the Braves would fare if TBS decided to stop showing their games.
I'm a bit of a MLB-Braves-Turner conspiracy freak. I think 15+ years has made me paranoid.

I know you were goofing with him, I was throwing a little back.
As far how the Braves will do w/o the TBS market... you may get your wish sooner than later. Braves games have been moving at a rapid pace to Turner South with TBS carrying less and less of them; a move, in which, I'm disgruntled with because I don't live in that "market" and can't get the Turner South games.
I know, for me, I'm going to follow my team. If that means me having to shell out the money to do so, I will. I'd like to think most of the die-hard Braves fans would do the same.
