Post your thoughts on KC's first regular season game.....

Predictions, thoughts on key match-ups, etc....

The KC defense will obviously be important. I think anybody can stop Denver's offense at this point. I read somewhere that Plummer has like a 13.8 QB rating so far this pre-season. LMAO

Hey, we really shouldn't laugh at Jakey Poo.....13.8 isn't all that bad....it could be worse....like maybe a 10.2 or something! HAHAHA

I hope his QB rating never goes up throughout the entire season!

Now that would be an entertaining season!;)

I think Darius Watts will be good in the future.....anyone agree?

Also, I seen some old game film of Richard Smith today.....He looked good but was injured in the 4th. I personally think Vermiel might keep him on the roster if he keeps improving.....and if Bo starts to disappoint.

I've also been reading that Morton isn't anywhere near 100% and won't be by the 1st game. That kinds tells me that Bo has the best chance to start in Mortons place if he keeps up the good play. I doubt they'll start Dante Hall being that he has to stay healthy and fresh as the 3rd WR and KR/PR. I suppose Richard Smith also has a shot.

I wonder if this may be reason enough to cut Morton and that giant contract? If Bo and Richard Smith show promise.....

I am going to say that the game will be allot closer than any of you guys think. You can never put must emphasis on our preseason. Plummer will do much better than expected. You offense is extremely potent. going to be hard to stop, but the D is still not that impressive. Cant wait for the game, good luck to us both.

Chiefs 35
Denver 21

Ashely Lelie tears up our secondary and Tatum Bell gets his first NFL TD. Tony G, Priest, and Dante all have scores for the Chiefs.

I too am going w/ KC but in a close one. Usually I would go with Denver at home but think we might pull one out this early in the year.

24 KC

you know what I like about our rivalry. I like the fact that one of us could have no wins and the other undefeated and that would mean nothing. When we play each other it is just balls to the wall competition. always good games. Good luck to us all on Sunday night.

i'm thinking i might just hop on the Broncos bandwagon for this one...for my new Broncos buddies...lol or maybe just to drive a few K.C. fans nutty...

I honestly think we'll win this one. I don't feel that the Broncos are as good this year as last year. The have a better defense but lost 2 good running backs. Their offense looks shaky and KC's defense is better so we should take them. 24-10

Unfortunately, when it comes to division games I always worry. I dont care how bad the Broncos may seem, and I dont think they are bad, they will give us a tough game. Look at the Raiders last year. Those were some of our tougher games. I might have not worried about the Seagulls back in the early 90's but that's about it. I dont think there are many Ds out there that can stop us. What I am really looking forward to is whether or not our D can step it up. We have been known to make the worst Offensive teams look good.
