Got some tickets today for the Mariners series and Rangers series

I plan to sell them on eBay in April and make an assload of money

Hooray America!

I haven't gone to a game since 04 cause the tix are too high priced and too hard to get. Frustrating.

I've been to 4 in the last 2 years

I usually buy a shitload, and then sell the ones I don't want and always end up breaking even and sometimes making cash.

That's actually a good system.

Hey I love you guys because you bleed for the Red Sox as I do, but you all piss me off when you sell those tickets you are able to get. If I lived in the Boston area and was able to get some ducats to games it would take my assassination to get those tickets from my possession. Anyway, think twice before you sell them. I only wish I had season tickets and could live in Boston during the baseball season.

I still go to a couple of the games

Other than that, it's America, and free enterprise reigns supreme

Well, that and you're not a Sox fan, that I know of. Of course, now that I think about it, I guess it wouldn't suurprise me all that much.

And how exactly does a 17 year old:

a). afford to buy Red Sox tickets at ANY time of the year
b). have a history of doing so?

mom and dad's credit card.
I don't even think my parents HAD credit cards when I was younger.

Spoiled ass kids.

mom and dad's credit card.
It's a hobby (if you can call it that) that my dad and I have taken up over the past 2 years.

Yea, the sales started at 10 AM.

My dad said he was in a "Virtual Waiting Room" from 10-7. He got in at 7, got some standing room tix for the Phillies game, and some outfield seats for one of the Jays games to sell.

I paid about $275 for some GS tickets for the Phillies game there. Phillies better win for that price.

How is that being spoiled? I apologize if the economy has evolved and credit is now a form of currency, but it has nothing to do with being spoiled.

dang, and sometimes i take for granted that i have season tickets to see the braves play (well i used to have full season, i can't go to that many in the week now so i got the weekend/holiday package but still go to probably 30 or so games in a season since i end up buying tix at the box office on the two for one days)... if i were a red sox fan and could only go to like a game a season i don't know what i would do

Just scored some pretty good seats (GS 7) for the May 1st Yanks/Sox game, and the return of Damon to Fenway

I'd like to go to a weekend game in Aug/Sept.

Of course, so would 55 million other people.
