Damn this is a close one.
If we're including Ima (as he was not pre-registered, for lack of a better term), then its tied. If not, bdetto is up by one.
Lets see if we can get some more votes so I don't have to make a decision like that!

I say Ima's votes should all be completely stricken from the record. He knows about as much about Phillies baseball and Phillies posters as my dog.

If it counts for anything, I agree. While I appreciate anything I can get vs. LWolf (who I think beat me last time but I really don't remember), I don't think it should be decided by a non-Phillies poster who didn't register.

You're not giving your dog enough credit.

You're probably right, and she'll probably have a nice hearty shit waitin on the living room rug when I get home after that comment.

Hey bdetto, isnt it ironic that the only two lawyers in the tourney (at least as far as I know) get matched up in the first round.
That little admission will probably lose votes for the winner of our match up in future rounds

I'm sold.

A nice solution would be to have this come to a draw, and let both move on.
This would also help even out the second round at 32.
There is nothing like being aggressively diplomatic.

Bdetto vs Lwolf probably should've been the Championship Round.
I see it's tied at 12 and I refuse to cast a go-ahead vote.

You can now tie it or widen the lead.
Tough call on this one folks.

While Lwolf and I have had many a productive argument, detto has just always been my boy. Anyone who spends that much time forming intelligent responses should get some credit.

Even though sometimes I stop reading, I appreciate the effort as well... ;)

Without sounding conciliatory because there is plenty of time left to vote and all precincts have yet to report (which is a fancy way to say I havent yet started making up screen names and creating different accounts to vote for myself), I feel pretty good just in doing so well against such a great poster like Bdetto. Contrary to one of Bdetto's earlier posts, it was not me who beat him last year.
NOW GO VOTE FOR ME DAMN IT!!! Insert cheesy winking emoticon here

I would say that this was one of the toughest ones to vote on. LWolf and bdetto, in my opinion, are two of the best posters on here.
Hopefully the loser of this battle gets to redeem himself in the wildcard round (if JayGlo decides to do that).

I have to applaud most everyone around here so far. It has been very cordial and those of us on the losing end of the stick so far have been taking it pretty graciously. Although I'm still not ruling out much pouting and bitterness in later rounds. And if I make it to a wild card round, that would be great

17-13 now? Which precinct just reprorted in with heavily Detto support?
I may have to cast my vote for Lwolf just to even things up a bit.

I wasn't going to reveal my secret, but my old friend Ken Blackwell introduced me to a few folks at Diebold Computer Voting, Inc. Apparently they have experience in this kind of thing.
With that said, good luck on a late comeback Wolf. Fortunately for me, it looks like some people are voting on sheer volume instead of substance, so I have a shot of escaping the first round.

Without making this sound like to much of a lovefest, if you win you deserve it. As I mentioned before for my money there isnt another poster on here who brings more well thought out and intelligent posts.
Now excuse me while I run to the off topic board to beg for some votes .

Thanks Wolf. Needless to say the (completey heterosexual and respectful) feelings are mutual.

But how many fruity things made of glass can break through a wall and not break? Definitely metro if anything.

Is he made of glass or is that an assumption? I always thought he was made of thick mylar.
Even so. Kool-Aid Man is cool in my book. Although he is kind of fruity. Didn't he have a re-make of that Naughty By Nature song?
