So the rumor mill is turning at full force today. Lots of talk of Seattle's interest in obtaining him. I wouldn't mind it from the perspective that I don't think he would be a big impact on the field but could be a great influence off.
Hey Jerry, teach KRob how to catch a fucking football.

I don't think we need him, but I'd certainly like it if he joined us. He's Jerry freakin' Rice for cryin' out loud :P
That begs the question, though... What number would he wear? We've retired Steve Largent's 80.

I remember the jersey number was a topic of conversation when he was an FA, prior signing with Oakland. I'd have no idea what he'd wear, come to think about it.
It would be nice having a receiver that could catch pretty much anything that wasn't thrown above his head. He may be over 40, but god damn, he can catch.

If he goes anywhere, it'd be Detroit. But what would we want him for, because he's Jerry Rice? Big deal. At this stage of his career he's not even beating out Doug Gabriel, or Whitted or whatever the hell the other guy is (no, not Porter). He's not even as good as our # 3 receiver. I see no need for him here.
