NASHVILLE PREDATORS RECALL FORWARD SCOTTIE UPSHALL FROM MILWAUKEE (AHL)

Nashville, Tenn. (October 31, 2005) – Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Scottie Upshall from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Upshall, 22 (10/7/83), has posted six points (2g-4a) in five games with Milwaukee this season, ranking second on the team. The 6-0, 197-pound winger, the Predators' first-round pick (sixth overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, has recorded one goal and one assist in 15 career NHL games with Nashville.

The Predators' roster stands at 21 with two players (Danny Markov and Scott Walker) on injured reserve.

Upshall is the only player I like on the Preds. Hopefully he can stick with the team and do a good job while he's there.

He has done a good job in his short stents with the Preds - I like him a lot. I hope he plays tomorrow night...

well, I hope they ALL PLAY tomorrow night unlike Saturday night :rolleyes:
