After getting over the numbness that was the game and the nauseating effects of it I'm starting to get pumped for the New England game. It was painful, but let's put this into perspective. Not in the same class as the GB game. That was season ending and 'anybody's' game. But nowhere near as painful as Vikings fans probably felt with the Cardinal game last year where it was a 'given'. Or the the 'Music City Miracle'.
It hurt just the same, but the ramifications are cleary different.
Let's get this thing on...

Vinny "Football-Head" Testeverde's 4th-quarter-4th-down touchdown in 1998 was more painful.
The loss to the Ravens last year due to the clock mismanagement by the refs was more painful.
It could be worse, of course. We could have lost like the Packers are losing right now. We know we're better than the Rams and that we should have won.
We are 3-1 and we have the lead in the NFC West for the time being... we have a chance to roll into Foxboro and end their "wonderful, dominant, best-ever" streak in front of their fans. After that let-down on Sunday, you know the 'Hawks will come out breathing fire.
Bring on the Pats.

I'm with you on that. I've had my day of mourning and feeling like shit.
It stung last week. Big time. But let's keep it in perspective.
Onward...

Actually, it didn't bother me all that much when it happened Sunday. Because I knew we'd dominated them, we were the better team, and the coaches gave it away with changing the offensive and defensive schemes that had worked for the 1st half, and even through the 3rd quarter. When you've got a team down, stomp them, don't play nice. That prick Martz has never worried about what anyone thought when he ran up the score, so why should we? Stomp them when their down, especially if it's the Rams. :D
