I'm officially a Caps fan until Ilya suits up. Then it becomes 50/50. When Kari comes back, its then 75/25 Thrashers. Kolzig has been my favorite player for about 12 years, but I'm totally disgusted with Caps management.

Fuck it, I may as well hop ship now. This defense is sickening. I thought there may have been a little progress by not bringing Doig or Kiwi back, but this year's team is even worse it seems. If only Atlanta could find a way to land Kolzig and AO, I could burn the ship down before hopping. Hossa and DeVries for AO and Kolzig. That would make me happy.

My boy AO scored the GWG today though! Whoooo! Wasn't looking good for a while as the Caps just let Jagr pepper Kolzig with shots, but Olie stayed strong.


On a totally unrelated note, I'm pissed Lewiston traded Alex Bourret(Atlanta's #1 in the 05 draft). I was looking forward to watching him play this year, but he got traded to Shawinigan. They do still have Denny(Atlanta's second rounder in 05) but I liked watching Bourret alot more last year since he's a smaller power forward and I like watching those kind of players play.
