The "E" word is welcomed whenever accompanied by "sucks". Of course, in some forums useing the word sucks can get you in trouble (only when its accompanied with the word lips though). Of course, you could happen to stumble accross one of the less modified boards, in which all things, (sucks, fucks, lips, or anything else that pops into your head) is completely ok, and is actually encouraged among the insane!

maaaaaaaaan why didnt anyone take my bait when i posted there 20-25 times weekly.... of course on the packers board i blew off a TON of message boards, so i cant say i blame ya.

I'm a former ESPN castoff myself. I wouldnt waste another minute of my time with that place.
This site does take a little getting used to because it has SOOO many more features. Once you get used to it though, you can really see just how bad that other site is.

To be fair, I don't get NEARLY as many error messages after my espn.com posts as I used to. Nonetheless, I like it here better because the graphics aren't dull like they are on espn.com; when you post here, your post actually shows up right away, and there don't seem to be any trolls here. I'm lovin' this board so far!!!
I dig your Adult Swim oriented avatar and signature, MadNova!!! Sealab kicks butt. I thought it kinda sucked at first, but the more I watch it, the more I like it. ATHF is pretty cool too, IMO. I'm kinda upset that they got rid of Stroker and Hoop after just one episode. I thought that show was pretty entertaining.

ESPN has the most gawd-awful servers. Never did get that parent key-child key error message, and the server is too busy bit drives you up the wall. And they never seen to get it fixed.

I think the new ESPN boards are better than the old ESPN boards, but that's not saying a whole lot because the old ones were terrible. I did like the new pull-down menus at the top. They made switching between the 'Hawks board and the General NFL board really easy.
That said, there were just too many problems with 'em. Server errors and too-busy messages and what-not... Not to mention the whole troll epidemic.
