Should a palyer who has played most of his playing time as a DH go to the hall?

His numbers are good with a 312 ba, life time and 305 home runs.

But in 5 years should he get in the hall?

He has played with Seattle all of his playing years (19) and they are going to retire his number

i would put him in. 19 years and a lifetime batting average over .300. he was a great hitter and should be in the hall in 5 years i think.

Most definetly. He's earned it. Good clutch hitter. I think he's a first ballot candidate. Paul Molitor is in and he played his last 10years as a DH.

Edgar Martinez was a good hitter.

But The Hall is for great players, and that he wasn't.

I think he'd be a shoe-in if he was a great defensive player along with those numbers... But he only has those numbers alone, and I think that will hurt him in his quest to get into the Hall of Fame.

perhaps he should get in, but no way does he deserve going in anywhere near his first year of eligibability. maybe after a few years.
