I imagine Arte and Bill will be shopping furiously for some additoinal quality pitching. Our offense is in good shape whether Glaus returns or not, but I sure hope to see his big stick here again. Thank God Sele will be gone. Is there any reason for Ortiz to stay? Will Washburn have to remember his freshman year as his best? Lackey too for that matter. Sele/Ortiz will free up some money to buy a quality third starter behind Colon and Escobar. Let Wash and Lackey hang in there for another try? I still think either one of them could turn it around.

Pavano, in all likelihood. I'm not sure we should put out the money for someone pedro's age. Plus, he hasn't been all that healthy in recent years. And, most recently, he hasn't looked in good form. Except when the Angels make him look like Cy Young.
