I think sending Nathan out there for the 12th was a mistake. He had obviously lost his control. But I'm not gonna blame Gardenhire for being hesitant to give the ball to Romero or a rookie (Crain). The Twins showed last night that they CAN beat the Yankees w/o Santana. We had plenty of chances to win that game.

How's that? Did they win? I know what you're saying but until they actually do, I won't believe that they will.

I think it was a huge mistake leaving Nathan in there. Had he pitched more than 2 innings in a game at all this season? I thought Romero had been playing much better in the 2nd half.

The key to tonight's game is getting on top early and NOT letting the Yanks back into the game. The crowd also needs to step it up.

A few less mistakes and they won that game -- mistakes that had nothing to do with Santana not being on the mound.

But some of those mistakes were 3 gopher balls served up to Jeter, ARod and Sheffield by Radke.

To bad for that ground rule double though.
