I'm not a big fan of ties. I'm wondering if next year we can implement something that can greatly reduce the chance of a tie.

How about if there is a tie, we designate ONE overtime player who's on the bench.

So in the regular lineup, you'd also include your overtime player in case there's a tie. Obviously the overtime player is currently on the bench that week. I think it could be any player at any position, unless you want to make it more complicated. Overtime would occur only once in a while but should almost eliminate any ties.

Just a thought.

Actually, that's kinda what I had in mind for the playoffs. I don't mind ties so much in the regular season, but none in the playoffs.

We can take a vote after the season possibly and see what the rest of the folks in the league prefer.

this year 1st time I tried fantasy. i'd like to see smaller roster size next year. hard to find good guys on waivers if you have injurys. only playing 8 guys have 10 backups i'm thinking 15 instead of 18 just a sugesstion.

One simple solution (simple depending on software) is fractional points. You rarely see ties when scores are 88.57 to 86.49.
