No HBO at school...I do miss Inside the NFL, just for Kalas and the highlights, I could care less what all of those clowns have to say every week.
Well, it was funny as hell. He talked about how he wouldnt sign a ball for Chris Carter cause Carter called him "mediocre" in 1997 after a Vikings/Niners game. Then he busted on Collinsworth. He said "what has he ever done...he doesnt know jack".

Yeah yeah yeah yeah :) Seriously, I'm happy for him. That lineup is just disgusting though. The only weak link is Jason Isringhausen IMO. The other three teams have very good closers but Isringhausen is shaky sometimes.

Izzy is good enough for that team, he gets the job done most of the time.

I still think it's a big if for playing the Yankees. The Red Sox have too much heart just to lay down and die, I think the Sox will push it to a game 7.

With no Schilling? Man, I hope you're right. It's the Rivera factor though. He's unhittable. All they need is to keep it close for 7 innings and they are going to win.

If anyone can hit him, the Sox can...they need to wake up. I would love to watch them go down 3-0 and come back and win, that's would be a dream.

You know, I was thinking about that tonight. Keep piling up the odds against Boston and let them come back and win it. That would be great! Too bad they'd still lose to STL. Now that would be even funnier!

Btw, I find it funny that in a game that ended 19-8, the losing pitcher gave up 1 ER and he wasn't even on the mound when that run scored.
My situation is here though, the Sox are down 3-0, how great would it be although unlikely if they actually won this series, that would be great.
Its always good to know things can be worse, I'd hate to be a Sox fan at this point. Suicide might be a viable option at this point.

Yeaup, they looked outmatched, I wouldn't have thought it to start the series, maybe will see something from them tonight, one game at a time, it would be the best to see the first 3-0 comeback from the Sox, but then again knowing them they would come back and make it 3-3 only to lose game seven in some horrible way...

Hey, I never said I wanted him over Lieby. If we go and get him, I'd be happy with that. But, I think Lieberthal has been too important to us these last few years, to just drop him. If he wants to go, let him go. If he wants to stay, he deserves that.

Please, look at all of NE games this year, everyone they have played has been in the game late, so put Seattle in the same category as Miami, Buffalo and Arizona for all I care. Look at Sea schedule, look who they have beaten, they are not worthy of the hype they are recieving.

We will have to see how the rest of the season goes since it is only week 6, but as of today the whole NFL looks like a 2 team race to the SuperBowl. But 13 weeks into last year no one saw any way the Cheifs weren't going to take it all..

I don't know that Lowe wants to picth out of the pen either. Secondly I highly doubt the Phils will make many moves for the pen, unless Cormier retires, I think they may look to plug in a replacement for Roberto Horrendous, but it will probably be a nobody, since the pen has already locked up 12 million for the end of the bullpen's 2 guys. Probably someone who would be a mild upgrade over Geoff Geary.

I wouldn't say they are blowing it, contrary to what some Cardinals fans on these boards think, the Astros have a very good team, good pitchers, good lineup. Things are setting up nicely for the Stros for the rest of the series.

Some Cards fans are having trouble dealing with the fact that they can be beaten, I think. It's not a surprise to me that this series is 2-2. The Astros did what they had to do. Threy had the advantage with having their two aces pitching at home, and they won. They did their job but still have more work to do.

I am a big fan of Recchi, or should I say was....aren't the Flyers getting rid of him, like it matters, they aren't playing.
But none the less both of you are correct, it was originally for Lindros.
My first name was Phila8803, I was a huge Nascar fan at that point...it could also go down as AI's number too. AOL screwed me over so I had to lose that name and couldnt' get it back, so I moved to Phila8819 which is my aim name right now. When I created it I did it for Rolen, which turns out I got his number wrong anyway..LoL, I was still mad at AOL at that point.
When I joined eSPN to play fantasy games (not to post at first) I wanted to add my favorite number (21) not for Bobby the Blanket, I was never a big fan of him. So it was my favorite number and / or you can go with T. Langdons number from about that time when he played for Duke.
I never dropped the 88 even with all the Lindros crap that went down, never could change it.
Great, after all of that the game is tied again. Terry should have just brought in Foulke for a four inning save. Sorry if this was so long I just kept typing.

I dont see how you can bring up McNabb and Culpepper and not mention Manning. He's the MVP right now cause of how good he makes his receivers look, not the other way around.

I told you pretty much the whole story the other day Phila. It was just a small little snippet and a few soundbytes. They didnt go in-depth too much. But Collinsworth said he wanted to interview him at the end and Peter King told him to forget about it.

Alright, now he is just padding stats, a 1 yrd TD, that's some BS right there....give the ball to Moore, he has done a lot of work and he doesn't have a TD, yet lets have Daunte throw another TD.
