Just goes to show he is doing what he has said he would do: and is showing the team that he is not better than they are.

Now if ownership can read what he says and give his staff a raise it would make signing him easyer. they also must understand what he has said about not till after the season and not bug him. It sends the wrong signal to the players with them talking to him after he has said, after the season and he wanted to come back.

That and taking care of the players like Rent long term.

Woody is ok to me. Matt Morris I would say trade him at years end or let him go, unless he shows he can once again be what the Cards wanted him to be. Mike I would resign till The young catcher showes he can play a whole season and knows the pitching staff better.

at the beginning of this year i was thinking maybe a new manager wouldn't be bad even though i always liked tony. now i would love to see him sign a good 5 year or so extention to stay with us. i can't imagine us changing managers for a while.

I actually thought LaRussa would retire after this year.
