Steve Blake was always one of my favorite non-Tarheels. Just loved the way he ran the team. I live 20 minutes from College Park, so I hear waaaaay too much about them. Still, I find it hard to hate them. The kids they recruit aren't the overhyped pricks that Dook has, by and large, and their kids play hard and stay out of trouble. Gary Williams being a classless, sweating hog drives me batty at times, but I can't point to any players I really dislike.

With all due respect JRoll, UNC and Dook have always been the top-2 teams in the ACC. Maryland has most definitely been there over the last 10 years, but that ain't always. State has been better over history.

You're right there. I guess I consider always to be my memory span, which is about 10 years, LOL. UNC is coming back to prominence now with Roy and I think that makes the ACC that much better. Watch out for Wake Forest in the conference this year, they really showed a lot last year and should be pretty good. The ACC is wide open this year because UNC, Duke, Maryland, and Wake Forest all have a good shot of winning the conference.
