Bucs QB Brian Griese started the Bucs' final 10 games but didn't enerate much notice because of the team's lousy 5-11 record, even though he finished as the NFL's 6th-rated passer. Bucs HC Jon Gruden especially appreciated Griese's 69.3% completion rate. "He's a very impressive guy now, and he's deadly accurate," Gruden says. "You don't throw for 70% in a pat-and-go unless you're decent, and to do that in the NFL is a great accomplishment. Gruden also adds that his veteran QB is getting the proper work this summer. "He's much more in tune with what we're doing. Last year he was taking 20 to 25% of the reps, where this year he's taking almost double that."
