Mike Reiss, of the Metrowest Daily News (http://www.kffl.com/link/165), reports WEEI radio in Boston has been reporting that free agent CB Ty Law (http://www.kffl.com/player/1146/nfl) (Patriots) has reached a contract agreement with the Kansas City Chiefs (http://www.kffl.com/team/21/nfl), pending a physical. Neither the Chiefs, nor other source are confirming the news at this point.

Ya know, I'll NEVER understand why a radio station will "report" a rumor as if it's fact. As if putting a question mark at the end makes it OK to "report" it. Or reporting the "news" in the form of a question.

If your lead-in to the story is a question, fine...as long as you answer that question. But just to say "is so-n-so going to KC? Joe Schmo reports (rumors) confirming...blah, blah, blah.)

Like a radio station in Boston as any clue. Does Ty Law still report his actions to the pats? Yeah, whatever. KC's radio has been touting this rumor all last week, however in Boston it's almost a "done-deal."

Whatever. I'll believe it when I see it.
