reports are saying that Mike Stanton, recently released by the yankees, will be heading to either the nats or the cards.

According to the New York Daily News, Mike Stanton has already agreed to terms with either Washington or St. Louis.
Stanton was released by the Yankees yesterday after being designated for assignment last week. ''All I can say on this is that Mike will be pitching for a contending team on Thursday,'' Stanton's agent Seth Levinson said. Jul. 12 - 10:45 am et

If the comment about Stanton playing on thursday rings true, it'll be the Nats, the cards dont have a game thursday.

Interesting update Smug. I don't think there will be any impact, no matter where Stanton plays.
