Tim Brown will sign a one-day contract with the Oakland Raiders and retire as a member of the team. "Tim will sign a one-day contract and retire as a Raider,'' team spokesman Mike Taylor said.

While I can't stand the raiders, I do have respect for "Mr. Radier." Tim Brown ALWAYS had a big game VS the Cheifs, and I mean ALWAYS. Home or away, it did not matter. I actually feel a little sad to see him leave the game. 18 years is a long time. He isn't that far from Jerry Rice in a lot of career statistics either, amazing he did it so quietly.
