The ball caromed high off the back of the rim. As several players jockeyed for position, one soared over them all, caught the ball at nearly its apex and slammed it through the net.

Sounds great. If he stays healthy, the Pistons have the best frontcourt in the league by far. We may not have any "superstars", but are top six guys are all All-Star caliber. Memo who?

I love this part. Sound like a Piston to anybody? Stories in the preseason are always overly optimistic (see: Grand Hill), but all I need to hear is this guy feels good and he understands whatt we're doing. I know he took less years and a bench spot to play for us when he could have fought to start in Boston, only question is what kind of a deal did we get.

"Oh God, please let this guy become the freak he once was, and let Darko just get off this year. Let us have 4 crazy good big men so we can ship Elden and Soup for a backup point guard (Jeff McInnis if you see fit God) and simply destroy the remainder of the NBA. This I pray in Dumars' name, amen.
