The lockout is killing me!!!

Things are looking pretty grim these days. There doesn't seem to be any talk of having talks. The previous lockout didn't appear to be as irreconcilable as this one.

I'm coping better, because the minor league hockey is going as scheduled. I may pick up season seats to the Las Vegas Wranglers. It's not like the old days of watching the Kings at the forum, but they put on a pretty darned good show and the players give it 100%.

I'm not sure if I agree completely. I imagine most real hard core hockey fans really miss the season. I know I do, but I've been going to Las Vegas Wrangler games (ECHL). It's a great show, but I wish I was also watching the NHL on satellite TV.

It helped a little to watch "Slap Shot" again last weekend.

We finally have a deadline, but it sure doesn't look good. If they do come up with an 11th hour deal, it will be a lousy regular season with probably only divisional play. This is looking way worse than the last shortened season and that's assuming a deal is made, which is probably a very bad assumption.
