View Full Version : Who would have thought
The Nats would have a chance to be in 1st place by the all-star break.
Now who would have thought that if i said:
Vidro has only 100 at bats
the scheduled opening day CF was sent to the minors a week before the season started
Guzman is barely hitting .200
Sledge had been lost for the season
and only 1 starting pitcher has not been on the dl, Livan.

Yeah, it is really something when you think about. But they almost help define what it takes to win nowadays in sports. Look at Det and San An in the NBA, both were franchises devoted to played as a "team." Same with New England in the NFL. Everybody just goes out, does their job and whats expected of them. And they play with some fundamentals. It seems like such a simple idea, but boy how it works when exectued right.
