Oh my gosh, someone else joined the boards!

I doubt any of you would remember me, but I use to peruse the ESPN boards. I read those starting in 2000 and even posted a few times both on the Chiefs board and Royals board. I always wondered where the regulars went from there, and finally I figured it out! It's good to see all these names again, like tyler durden, imann, tom servo, ncarls, and others. It use to be so bad, that I would weed through the ESPN boards only reading the topics started by all you sane regulars. It's a shame whats going on over at ESPN

Enough with the introduction, lets dispense with Chief talk:

Whats with Cheek being signed, then played for two games, then being released, then being signed to the practice squad? And what's with Baker being re-signed after being released after a bad training camp? And why was Huard re-signed after being released one week earlier? Does Peterson just not wanna give up on these gems, or what?

If someone wants to bitch incessantly about something we prefer it be done by private message, as to not pollute the sports talk on the board. That's the answer to the private message portion of your question.

The "deal with this board" is that it's a sports board. It's not a political board, which is what Tyler tried to make it into. I removed him as moderator of the chiefs board for editing my posts and unlocking threads I had locked. I banned him for posting pornography and violating the terms of service. His kool aid drinking followers either left of their own accord or were banned for disrupting the site about his banning. Some of those who were banned asked to be, so they were obliged.

No, not everyone here is a chief fan, and a moderator will have the title no matter what forum he/she is in. Take a look around the site, there are many forums and many fans.

We cross over posting between boards here just like espn. The difference is trolling and attacks are not allowed and are dealt with swiftly. Intelligent debate and friendly banter between rivals is however encouraged, because it is fun.

Actually Spungo, thats what makes the Sports-Boards such a great forum. It is a place where you can talk to the fans from your favorite team without anybody messing it up. No clogged threads about politics, no trolls running rampant, and none of constant bickering that you had to put up with on the ESPN board.

Its ALL about being able to talk with your fellow Chief fans.....about THE CHIEFS!
