View Full Version : Ryan Drese - left for dead
in 8 innings, gave up 2 hits, 4 walks, no runs. And he was pulled from the scrap heap?
I have a feeling that he was pitching above himself last night, but its not like the Angels havent seen him before, they used to play in the same division.
Either way, it was a great outing but i'd expect it to level out.
IMO this was an excellent move by Bowden. At his salary, there was no reason not to see if all Drese needed was a change of scenery.

I can't believe it. The guy gives up 7 runs a game, 90 hits in 76 innings...and then he comes to Anaheim and does his Cy Young impersonation. Is Texas kicking themselves in their collective butts?
His 2nd start wasnt so hot. only lasted 3 innings. Will get another look at him over the weekend.
Another 8 innings, only one run this time. Lets hope he doesn't follow this one up with another stinker.
