very true... honestly... i think ND will win, our run defense looked very bad against a very bad illinois team. not to mention we never win in ND. you guys were supposed to suck this season after losing to byu... wtf?

I guess it was BYU's confusing style of defense and our offense hadn't had time to gel yet, just made us look bad. I was predicting a 2-10 season after how bad ND looked that game. From all the games I've seen(which, of course, is every one), ND's closer to the 3 win team than the 1 loss team.

btw, I'm scared to death of what Kyle Orton could do to my irish. ND will without a doubt be the toughest defense he's faced so far if not the toughest he'll face all year.

Orton is a stud, he understands the offense better than our coaching staff does. He and stubblefield are always on the same wave length. I would have to recommend not blitzing against orton, he always finds the hot route against a blitz.

Luckily, my irish have a pretty good front four that generates a decent pass rush, but I don't know if it will be enough. Like I said, orton is incredible.
