I've heard others tout Sweeney too. I believe the guy can hit, but what are we going to do with him? We've got the best first baseman in the major leagues in Erstad. If we DH Sweeney, what will we do with Davanon and the rotating staff of fielders designed to keep Figgins in the game? Sweeney might just be superfluous on this team.
