Although we didn't get our original first rounder due to signing Cabrera, we got the 37 pick in the draft. I don't pay much attention to the MLB draft, because there really isn't any immediate impact. However, if anyone has any information on our pick (Trevor Bell, rhp, Crescenta Valley HS, Calif. ) or any other picks by the Angels, I'd be interested in hearing about it. I'll look for some myself as well.

And then Weaver comes out and says he can't understand why the Angels held up the proceedings the way they did. Huh? He was the one failing to put pen to paper for a ridiculous amount of money for an unproven product.
