well boys and girls, looks like the wolves have the #14 pick. i've seen mock drafts with us taking villanueva, warrick, wright, petro, among others. any other picks you've seen? in all those drafts they had us passing on mccants. i don't know why he's fallen so far...i think he's a gamer.

thoughts on who we should take given availability?

Why not someone like a Sean May or Hakim Warrick, you guys could have a nasty 4-5 combo with one of those 2 and KG.

Warrick, Stoudamire, or Diogu would be nice.

I don't care what happens I guess, just as long as the dude played at least three productive seasons of college basketball. No high schoolers and no foreigners PLEASE!!!!

We are badly in need of some athleticm and youth.I'd love to have Felton, but i'm sure he will be gone by 14.Someone nasty inside would be nice too

well the wolves worked out four players within the past week or so...jarrett jack, julius hodge, donnell taylor, and monta ellis. imo opinion, only ellis is worth a #14 pick, but he's the biggest project as well coming right from prep ball. hodge and jack both are good players, but 14 is too high. don't know much about taylor, just that i don't want him.

At least Hodge has accomplished something in his lifetime. If he would have came out two years ago, this would look like a steal.

Hodge is a player, but i don't know if i'd take him at 14.Sean May kind of intrigues me

I am a Hakim Warrick guy...we need athletes, he qualifies. This teams future is pretty bleak unless we can get a few guys that can play, and fast. Hopefully Ebi is a guy who shows up next year, he looked good in the last couple games this season...tough to say though.

well it's time for an update...i heard casey worked out some more players a few days ago...mccants, graham, and wright. i would be happy with any of these guys. my top choice is quickly becoming antoine wright. a lot of mcgrady comparisons when the ball is in his hands.

Antoine Wright is a baller. If he had played anywhere other than A&M he would be a consensus lottery pick. Yet, he didn't play somewhere obscure enough (HS, Europe, Pacific, Bowling Green, Western Michigan) to be overrated because he's a supposed hidden gem.

He is the type of player who should be a very fine player in the NBA for 8-10 yrs.
