Hopefully, he'll do what Holmgren did when they drafted Conway and ended up going with the better man for the job, Longwell.

I'm betting Chapman is a little pissed. 13 punts last night and he didn't get one chance at it. You travel all the way from Australia with the expectation the you'll at least get a chance at the job.

There's a big difference. Conway was injured in camp and couldn't do anything. Sander at least has the chance to get better assuming no injuries. Shouldn't we give him the chance to play in a few more game situations before predicting his demise?? It's the same with Couch...yeah he was useless last night...but then again, so was Najeh. I don't hear anyone calling for his head.

Najehs proved he can do good things before though.....

Couch did good things with bad tools in CLE and Sander was a pretty damn good college punter, and has done well in practices. You can't let one game be the fulcrum in the decision...

I think I deserve some good "rep" points for including the word "fulcrum" in this post.

Not calling for his demise at all. He still has a shot. I just don't think it would be wise to cling to him at all costs just because we spent a third round pick on him. Chapman deserves an equal shot. If he can win the job, if he can help make the team better, great. Cut Sander loose. Don't make a bad mistake worse... if it was a mistake.

Hmmm.... no cool uses of words to help jack up my rep points.... damn.

I hated the pick, but it's a bit premature to be burying him. If he fails, he fails, and he should be cut, regardless of what round he was picked in, but conversely, Chapman should be given an equal shot to win the job.

Let the best man win.

No, I agree, but a lot of people have been down on BJ (pun intended) because of one game. If he stinks the rest of the season, cut the ties, but give him the chance to stink continuously.

Reputation power comes at 20 posts. As far as reputation (The green/red boxes), that's determined by your fellow users.

In real life, I've always had the reputation of being dis-reputable, but I don't know if that's fiction, or just a little "color" that people add to my character.

So, how many of the green (or red) dots can be accumulated?

The fatigue is invading my body so much that my ocular functionality is beginning to wane.

:) ... now I'm just trying to hard.

Have a good night.

I don't know what the box equivalent is, but the reputation as I have it programmed is arranged by phrases/reputation points.
